Copper Basin Road. The one-mile turnaround (for two-mile walkers) and aid station are right here.

There's not much to look at here, especially at this time of Day. This Is The Last Of The City Scenery. over the crest of the hill it becomes a two-lane road lined with houses and trees, and the road generally rises as you head out of town.

This is also where the running gets a little bit dangerous for a couple of miles, particularly on the return trip.
