A Hard-Working Crewsman |

The weather couldn't have been more perfect for this race. It remained overcast and the temperature remained under 70 degrees the whole time. I would say it was a perfect fall day, except that it was still summer, astronomically speaking. It was a great day for crewsmen as well, who were not as warmed by exertion, and had to face sitting around most of the time, waiting for their runners to pass by. Every crewsman's efforts are much appreciated by the grateful runners fortunate enough not to have to wing it alone.
