The aid station on the outside edge of the track, just a few feet up from the other one, had a microwave, a grill, and was able to dish up real food, including soup, pizza, delicious pancakes, and whatever anyone brought along of his own that needed preparing. Things were slow at the moment, but could get busy around the times that most people are used to eating regular meals, especially the last day, when there were nearly sixty runners on the track at once.
