The Northwestern University faculty string quartet, which Dad played in from 1948 to 1956. This group had some heavy duty musicians in it. I remember only the name of the first violinist, Arcule Sheasby. Second violinist Franz Polesny was listed as a principal violinist (presumably first chair second violins, not concertmaster) in the Chicago Symphony, and cellist Dudley Powers was the orchestra's principal cellist.
